Who is River Cable?
Since 1982 we've been hand-crafting cable assemblies for some of the most prestigious companies, web-brands, broadcasters, and venues around the world, as well as for discerning audiophiles and videophiles. In fact, the cables you currently have in your home audio system or home theater may have been built by us and sold under another company's name. And now, for the first time you can buy directly from us.

We've been in business for more than 20 years.
Do you really make the cables?
Yes! We hand-craft each and every cable that we sell in our state-of-the-art Hudson River Valley Guild Shop, with the exception of TOSLINK digital optical audio cables, and our DVI and HDMI cables, which are subcontracted to trusted suppliers. This is a real point of pride for us and is the very reason we stand so confidently by our products.

Do you test your cables?
Yes! Each and every cable we manufacture undergoes no less than four separate tests and in many cases up to seven tests. (For a complete description of all the tests please visit Testing under The River Cable Difference.)
Can I order a custom cable?
Custom orders are no problem. Please visit the Custom Cable section of this site for complete instructions on how to order your custom cable.
What if I need a specific length?
We can make a cable to fit any length that you need. For information please visit the Custom Cable section of this site or call or email Customer Service.
What if I have a problem with a product?
Unlikely, but if you do please don't hesitate to either e-mail or call Customer Service for assistance. How long will it take to receive my order?
Because of the demanding assembly standards and rigorous testing required of all our handcrafted cables, we generally ship within 36-72 hours of receiving your order.
I need my cable now! Can I get a RUSH order?
Absolutely! To indicate a rush order, please select the "Rush" box when checking out. There is a $10.00 charge for rush orders. As noted on our ordering information page, we normally pack and ship your order in 24-48 hours of receipt. If you are placing your order after 2:30 PM EST and need your order to be packed and shipped that same day, please alert customer service at email@example.com or toll free telephone at 888-92-RIVER (888-927-4837).
Do you take international orders?
Yes we do. If you are outside the U.S.A., please place your order through the standard check out procedures. Payment may be made with VISA, MasterCard or American Express. To complete your international order it is essential that we have your valid e-mail address as well as your exact credit card billing address and your telephone number with country and city code for contact. Orders with incomplete or invalid e-mail addresses, bill-to/ship-to address discrepancies, or invalid telephone numbers cannot be processed. A US$10.00 handling fee is added to all international orders.
International orders are shipped UPS via your choice of Canada Standard, Worldwide Express or Worldwide Expedited OR are shipped FEDEX via your choice of International Priority or International Economy. You will be offered the above UPS and FEDEX options at the time you check out. Associated freight charges will appear to aid you in selecting your freight option. PLEASE NOTE: Any and all customs and import duties are the client's responsibility. As custom duties vary by country no estimates or quotes are provided. We suggest you consult your local import authority.
