To ensure that your orders are shipped quickly and efficiently, River Cable uses a variety of carriers to ship products. We take into account the weight of the package and destination when selecting the best carrier to use. We currently use either UPS or USPS. Remember - you will pay only $5.00 per order for ground shipping in the continental U.S.!
International Orders are currently only available to Canada. Canadian orders are shipped UPS via your choice of Canada Standard, Worldwide Express or Worldwide Expedited. You will be offered the above UPS options at the time you check out. Associated freight charges will appear, to aid you in selecting your freight option. PLEASE NOTE: Any and all customs and import duties are the client's responsibility. As custom duties vary by country no estimates or quotes are provided. We suggest you consult your local import offices.
UPS 2nd Day Shipping and UPS Next Day Air options are also available to our customers in the continental US. Charges are calculated in the check-out process, based on the weight of the order.
When will my order ship?
Most orders will be packed and shipped in 36-72 hours of receipt, Sunday through Thursday. Orders received on Friday or Saturday will ship on the next business day. Longer length cables may require additional time.
When will my order arrive?
Expected delivery for orders sent via ground shipping is 4-10 business days.
PLEASE NOTE: Do not use P.O. boxes for your shipping address, as UPS can not ship to P.O. boxes.
To indicate a rush order shipped the same day, please select the "Rush" box when checking out. There is a $10.00 charge for rush orders. As noted above, we normally pack and ship your order in 24-48 hours of receipt. If you are placing your order after 2:30 PM EST and need your order to be packed and shipped that same day, please alert customer service at email@example.com or toll free telephone at 888-92-RIVER (888-927-4837).
Currently we are not accepting website orders for shipment outside of the U.S. or Canada. To order or inquire, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Upon receipt of your return, we will credit your credit or debit card for the amount of purchase, less handling charges, within 10 days, or will ship a replacement product, as you request.
- Check your products carefully upon receipt.
- The 30-day period begins with the date of shipment, and ends on the date we receive the return. You will be emailed a shipping confirmation including the date your package shipped out of our facility along with the tracking number.
- Complete the returns form on the bottom of your packing slip
- Include the Returns Form in the package with your returned product - make sure to pack carefully, as returns must be in like-new condition.
- No credit can be issued without the completed returns form enclosed with the return.

- Pay for return postage; we will not accept any COD or postage due packages. We suggest you insure your return package for the value of the returned product.

Order information placed online with River Cable.com is thoughroughly evaluated and tested for your safety. We use the most reputable, secure server technology (SSL) for all of our commerce transactions. All data is encrypted before being sent to us. Once we have collected customer service data, it is protected against any unauthorized access.
As an additional layer of fraud protection for you our customer, we must now require that all shipping addresses exactly match the billing address for the credit card used to process your transaction and fulfill your order. This extra measure of protection is intended to ensure that an unconfirmed shipping address, provided as part of the transaction, is not fraudulent. Please note that while billing addresses are confirmed during the credit card transaction process, shipping addresses, with the exception of American Express, are not. If a different shipping address is to be used to complete your transaction, that address must be currently registered with your credit card issuer as a confirmed and listed address. If the shipping address is, in fact, an unconfirmed address, and you must ship to that address, then we would be happy to accept an ACH payment, wire transfer, or a check payment in advance, as we cannot process a credit card transaction under these circumstances. What data do we maintain in our company database?
For River Cable use, we keep your name, address, telephone, fax, and e-mail contact information as well as details of your transactions, inquiries and responses research questionnaires. We do not set any cookies.

From time to time, with your permission (based on the option you selected at registration or check-out), we may share your name, address, and e-mail data with other trusted and reputable companies in the audio and home theater sector. But always and only in cases where we think you will find their products or services of benefit and/or interest. Your telephone number will never be shared nor will any data of your transactions or research responses.
